Ephraim Island bridge

Ephraim Island, the panoramic paradise

At just over 9 hectares in size, Ephraim is one of the smaller island developments in the Gold Coast’s glamorous North Shore. Man-made, the island is home to some of the most prestigious waterfront houses and apartments in Paradise Point. Separated from the Paradise Point Mainland by a 400m bridge, Ephraim Island is technically part of ‘The Broadwater’, a long and famous estuary that enjoys access to the coast, Southport and the UNESCO World Heritage Listed Moreton Bay.

As such, residents enjoy never-ending Broadwater vistas northwards towards Stradbroke Island. This oasis offers a truly amazing, self-contained and enviable lifestyle situated only a short stroll across the connecting bridge from the shopping and dining precinct of picturesque Paradise Point Village.

Aside from its enviable location and fantastic surroundings, Ephraim Island is well known for its absolute waterfront living and luxury apartments, and the only island apartment development of its kind across the entire Gold Coast (and one that is unlikely to be repeated).

Absolute waterfront living

Ephraim Island

Views are one thing, but with its exceptional positioning on The Broadwater, and featuring a 115-berth marina, Ephraim Island is perfectly positioned for you to access the coast or estuaries. Like Paradise Point, Hope Island and other surrounding suburbs, Ephraim benefits from the shelter provided by Stradbroke Island, protecting it from storms and winds.

Community & connection

Despite its small size, there is a vibrant and cohesive community that enjoys the ‘island community lifestyle’ that Ephraim offers. Over the years, the island has twice been recognised as a Residential Lifestyle Development of the Year by the Housing Industry Association and was recognised by the Master Builders Association and the Australian Institute of Architects for its design and prestigious properties.

The location that was once impossible to buy into

This sought after location has always been in high demand. As far back as in 2014, the ‘last apartment’ for sale at the time was sold, with the island making the news for being completely sold out. Properties do come up for sale often, but they are quickly snapped up!

Facilities & amenities

When you’re not taking in the views or strolling across the 77 per cent of the island that is reserved for open spaces and outdoors, there are a surprising amount of things to do on those days when you don’t want to even leave the island itself. With 24-hour security, local residents also enjoy access to three different pools, a spa, sauna, a fully equipped modern gym, retail services and restaurant facilities. If you do decide to cross the bridge, you will be rewarded with the active Paradise Point Esplanade full of parks, restaurants, shops and supermarkets and miles of walking paths for you to enjoy.
